Saint Germain is Firriato’s Spumante Brut, which is the result of the encounter between the native white grape varieties that have contributed to Sicily’s oenological success, allowing it to establish itself on the world quality wine scene. The name recalls the France of the 1700s but it is an authentically Sicilian sparkling wine born in the fertile lands of the Trapani countryside. Saint Germain was born at Borgo Guarini in a unique agricultural setting and expresses, with Firriato’s innovative production style, all the ampelographic complexity of this patch of the Trapani countryside. Freshness and minerality blend in harmony thanks to the Martinotti method sparkling process, which enhances the aromatic and olfactory textures of the two varietals, revealing brio and very pleasant drinkability.
