Why we like it
Cavanera Balza delle Poiane is a white wine of great class, because it is essential in wanting to stand out for its production style and oenological expression, refined yet distinctive in fully capturing the aromatic profile of its prevalent Carricante grapes, to which a small portion of grapes is added Catarratto, always obtained from a vineyard located in Contrada Zottorinotto, in the territory of Castiglione di Sicilia, on the north-eastern side of the volcano. Aromaticity and minerality in a vibrant game of a thousand taste-olfactory sensations. Power and finesse in harmony with balsamic hints and minerality pushed to the sublime, when enriched with white flowers and peels rich in aromas of cedar and lemon. A breadth that shines on the palate in the marked flavor and in the elegant and clear hint of white peach which flows into a very fine but prolonged, very pleasant finish of almond sweets.
